We aim to provide quality craftsmanship and designs that you will love for years to come. However, if you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to remedy the situation.

You must contact us first to initiate any exchanges for further instructions. If an exchange for store credit is to be issued, the item must be shipped to The Smithery within 7 days of receiving your jewelry. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges and must return the item unworn and in its original condition and packaging. Customer must package the item carefully and provide a tracking number once shipped. 

We reserve the right to refuse any jewelry that does not follow the exchange policy. Exchanges cannot be made more than 7 days after the delivery of your order. 

Exchanges cannot be made on custom orders, personalized jewelry, or sale items. These sales are final.

In the event that your item is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of your receipt of the item and we will determine the best solution.


In stock items will ship within two business days from the time the order was placed. Any shipping deadlines, or closures due to holidays or any other reason will be indicated in the announcement bar at the top of the website.

If items are made to order, turn around time will be noted in the individual product listing.

We currently ship within the United States via USPS or UPS. 

You will receive a tracking number when your order ships.  

Shipping timelines/delays from the carrier are beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed.
